Syntixi is an independent music production and record label website available at https://syntixi.de/. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data may be processed when you browse the site, stream media, access protected areas, or make a purchase.

Payments

Payments on Syntixi are handled through Stripe Checkout. When you click a buy button, relevant order information is sent to Stripe to create a secure checkout session.

We do not store full card numbers on our own servers. Payment card information is processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own privacy and security terms.

Hosting, Streaming, and Service Providers

Syntixi relies on third-party infrastructure providers to operate the site and deliver media.

• +Scaleway Object Storage for audio, image, and video asset delivery.
• +Stripe for payment processing and checkout.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and which tracks are played. Plausible is operated by Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia.

Plausible does not use cookies and does not store anything on your device. Your IP address and browser user agent are only used to form an anonymous daily visitor count, and the random value needed for it is deleted every 24 hours. Plausible never stores raw IP addresses or user agents, and all data is processed and stored in the EU.

We use Plausible on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and Browser Storage

Syntixi only uses cookies and browser storage where they are strictly necessary for a feature you choose to use.

• +When you unlock the soundbank, a cookie named syntixi_soundbank keeps it unlocked for up to 12 hours, or until you lock it again. It contains only an expiry time and a signature, and scripts on the page cannot read it.
• +Local storage remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme.
• +Plausible Analytics does not use cookies or browser storage.

Newsletter and Contact Forms

If you choose to submit your email address or contact information through a form on the site, that information may be used to respond to you or to manage updates you requested.

At certain times, a form on the site may exist as a front-end interface before a full mailing backend is connected. In those cases, entering data into the form may not automatically create a mailing-list subscription unless and until that connection is implemented.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers only where necessary to operate the website, process payments, deliver media, measure traffic, comply with legal obligations, or protect our rights.

Retention

We keep data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, operational, and transaction-related reasons.

Payment-related records may need to be retained longer where required by tax or commercial law.
